Meet Beth
Beth began practicing yoga during what she likes to call her third-life crisis. She quickly discovered the benefits of a consistent practice -- decreased stress, increased and altered perspective, and relief from chronic pain associated with fibromyalgia and arthritis. After a few months, the yoga mat began to feel like home, and the philosophy of yoga that she internalized through an asana practice started to influence her work, parenting, and relationships. Because of her belief that every person--no matter what size, shape, or condition--can embrace and benefit from yoga, Beth completed her 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training with Curvy Yoga in Nashville, Tennessee. The Curvy Yoga philosophy focuses on body-positive yoga for a safe, sustainable practice.
She chairs the board of directors of the Ohio Justice and Policy Center and is a member of the boards of Beech Acres Parenting Center and Beyond Civility. Beth has been recognized as one of Ohio’s Most Powerful and Influential Women by the Ohio Diversity Council, a Human Resources GameChanger by Workforce Magazine, and one of Cincinnati’s Forty Under 40 business leaders.
She lives in Union with her husband, Chad; daughters Jane and Ellen, and miniature schnauzer, Lucy.
