Why Aromatherapy? Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment to relieve pain, improve mood, and promote relaxation using essential oils. This class will focus specifically on aromatherapy for the vagus nerve. You’ll learn what role the vagus nerve plays in how you feel, and the effects it has on your nervous system.
What is the Vagus Nerve? The vagus nerve is the longest and most complex of the cranial nerves, running from the brain stem to the abdomen and branching into numerous organs, including: heart, lungs, liver, kidney, stomach, large and small intestines. It’s the body’s communication superhighway.
Think of the vagus nerve as an on/off switch between the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight), and the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest).
What Stays in Vagus is a class to learn how to “tone” your vagus nerve to calm you down, and keep you calm.
Is this an Interactive class/workshop? YES and YES!!! In this interactive class, you will learn how to tone your vagus nerve with simple daily practices, exercises, and aromatherapy. Strengthening vagal tone can positively impact our ability to manage stress, balance mood, support digestion, and improve overall feelings of wellbeing.
What’s included? In addition to learning practices, exercises, and techniques to calm down everyone who attends will go home with a 10mL rollerball of the Vagus Nerve blend!
