Usher in the Spring Equinox with this special 120-minute sound healing and meditation experience to balance the chakras, calm the nervous system, and usher in Spring.
The 120-minute experience will begin with centering, breathwork, and gentle movement to prepare the mind and body for stillness.
Once settled in, meditation will begin. Yoga Nidra - known as yogic sleep - is a guided meditation practice that promotes deep rest and relaxation. The yogic state of Nidra is beyond the waking state, past the dreaming state, and a form of sleep state where you're actually awake. While you enjoy an extended savasana, you will be guided through a Yoga Nidra meditation which incorporates body scanning, imagery, and breath awareness.
(a short break will be offered between the meditation and the sound bath, 2 hours on the floor can be a lot on the body!)
Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Therapy brings your body back into its natural state of balance, removes blockages, re-tunes the chakras, aura and physical body to its natural state of healthy resonant vibration.
The bowls are tuned to 432Hz, a factor of the Earth's resonant frequency as well as the 7 primary chakras. As the bowls are played in a continuous manner, the specific frequencies of the bowls cause the cells in our body to vibrate, facilitating the release of stuck, stagnant energy. As we release this "old" energy, new fresh energy begins to circulate through your body, mind, and spirit, promoting deep healing.
The combination of Yoga Nidra and the Crystal Singing Bowl experience will leave you feeling renewed, energized, and rested as if you've had an incredible night's sleep.
* NOTE: Please wear comfortable clothes for this event. Yoga props will be provided, but please bring anything else to make you comfortable (pillows, blankets, etc.).

* IMPORTANT - CONTRAINDICATIONS *
(Please check with your doctor before attending a Sound Therapy session if any of the following apply to you)
* PREGNANCY - If you are pregnant, please maintain a distance of at least 3 ft from the sound bowls while they are being played, especially in the first three months of pregnancy.
* IMPLANTS - Any plates or implants in the body (metal plates in particular) could cause discomfort through the vibration of the sound and the implant.
* EPILEPSY - If you have epilepsy, you may be advised to avoid sound therapy. According to Epilepsy Action Support Services there is an extremely rare form of epilepsy, which can be triggered by sound, and it is sound ‘reflective epilepsy’ where such things as bells, music, animals and car horns, etc can trigger an epileptic fit. This is typically linked to people with brain lesions which are usually detected early in life. If you have been diagnosed with this specific condition, it is advised that you avoid this type of treatment.
Cancelations - No refunds for no shows or cancelations
